احتفل المختبر الخليجي وشركة UL الأمريكية بتوقيع الشراكة على هامش منتدى الرؤساء التنفيذيين السعودي – الأمريكي في نيويورك الذي نظمه المركز السعودي للشراكات الاستراتيجية، وذلك ضمن النشاطات المصاحبة لزيارة صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبد العزيز ولي العهد نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الدفاع، الرسمية للولايات المتحدة الأمريكية. وتهدف الاتفاقية لإنشاء المختبر الخليجي للطاقة المتجددة وتوطين تقنيات وخدمات واختبارات الطاقة المتجددة في المملكة ومنطقة الخليج العربي ومنطقة الشرق الأوسط ومصر. وتأتي هذه الشراكة الاستراتيجية مع المبادرات السعودية والخليجية لتنويع مصادر الطاقة في المنطقة والاستفادة من موارد الطاقة الشمسية وعناصرها الأساسية لإقامة صناعات متكاملة وتوطين التقنيات الشمسية وفتح وظائف مجزئة للشباب في منطقة الخليج. وتقوم هذه الشراكة الاستراتيجية لإقامة معاهد للبحوث والتطوير وتأهيل الكوادر الوطنية وتطوير المواصفات والمقاييس الفنية بما يضمن نجاح المنشآت الشمسية في ظروف المنطقة المناخية ورفع مستويات السلامة والأداء والموثوقية وتعكس هذه الشراكات الاستراتيجية نجاح السوق السعودي والخليجي في اجتذاب رؤوس الأموال وثقة الشركات الكبرى في الأسواق المحلية ونجاح مبادرات التحول الاستراتيجي بمقتضى رؤية المملكة والرؤى الخليجية.

Celebrating the signing of the GCC Electrical Testing Laboratory Joint Venture with the US company UL for the establishment of the Gulf Renewable Energy Laboratory Company on the sidelines of the Saudi-US CEOs Forum in New York:

The GCC Electrical Testing Laboratory and the US company UL celebrated the signing of the Joint Venture on the side-lines of the Saudi-US CEOs Forum in New York which organized by the Saudi Centre for Strategic Partnerships, among other activities accompanying the official visit of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, to the USA. The Convention aims to establish the Gulf Renewable Energy Laboratory and to resettle renewable energy technologies and testing services in the kingdom, the GCC region, throughout the Middle East and Egypt. This strategic partnership comes with Saudi and GCC initiatives to diversify energy sources in the region and utilize solar energy resources and essential elements for the establishment of integrated industries, localization of solar technologies and opening of youth-friendly jobs in the Gulf region. This strategic partnership is based on the establishment of research and development institutes, qualify the national cadres
and development of technical specifications and standards to ensure the success of solar installations in climatic conditions and ensure higher levels of safety, performance and reliability. These strategic partnerships reflect the success of Saudi and GCC markets to attract investors and trust of the major players in the local markets and the success of strategic transformation initiatives under the kingdom’s and the GCC’s visions.
